David Shaw Stewart is an oft-frustrated golfer who has used the time wisely to illustrate some of the most fun, interesting and challenging courses in Britain and Ireland. The resulting thoughts and watercolours are collected here, in a colourful tour round the finest fairways.

David Shaw Stewart is a passionate golfer and artist. He swung his first club at Traigh Golf Course and now has the privilege of jointly owning and maintaining this spectacular nine hole links. He has received considerable assistance in this project from his wife as his editorial caddy and advisor, his son Gus who has designed this website and above all his daughter Xa, who planned, edited and designed the book with such care and skill. It has been great fun for us all.
